One question we are frequently asked is:
Why does everyone call the East Windsor Restaurant "The Grille"?

Originally the restaurant was a small Greek diner named  "The Windsor Grille" .

In 1979, after the third large addition was made to the restaurant, it was renamed the The East Windsor Restaurant. We have many loyal customers who still prefer to call it by the original name even after 20 years

The restaurant has long been a landmark in the area, so if you meet at "The Grille" or "The Diner" or The East Windsor Restaurant it's all the same place. Family and friends have been meeting here for many years and whatever you choose to call The East Windsor Restaurant we hope you enjoy your visit.

When will we see a photo of Phil or Bobby?

Phil and Bobby both seem to be a little camera shy, but as soon we get pictures we'll post them.

The coffee is excellent, where do you buy it?

Omar Coffee supplies the coffee and the espresso beans. We grind the beans here before brewing. Omar  Coffee is located at 555 Franklin Ave. in Hartford, Conn. They do have a retail store, as well as wholesale.

Are buses welcome?

Yes, they are. We have plenty of room inside and out for buses. When possible a phone call (even a few minutes in advance) would be appreciated.
